I’ve gotten a raise, but wouldn’t you figure, I’ve got furlough days to pay for, so it balances out.  WTF?  At least I still have my job.  My wife got laid off beginning of June.  City says they apparently weren’t needed.  Time will just end up proving them right anyhow.

That I must be some insensitive dick. That is all for now.

Droid….=rooted. Of course the 2.1 update starts to rollout tomorrow…I wonder which will be more worthwhile.

We have a new mattress coming tomorrow, a Simmons Beauty Rest, “GreekTown”….amazingly enough, it really was the most comfortable one out there! Well…within our budget. We had actually wanted a Tempurpedic, but damnit, a lil over twice as much. Considering the wife’s upcoming layoff, it seemed like a better idea…especially since we really REALLY needed a mattress. Considering that this one that we have now we end up floating to the center and have a bit of neck/back pains.

Time for us to start sorting and packing up for the move back to San Francisco. I hate moving. You realize just how much crap you have acumulated. Its tons.

Junko is now on her 4th day of being with us. Jackson appears to be adjusting well to having a new dog in the house…however, there are a few caveats…

1. Jackson sometimes forgets who he is playing with and gets a bit rough. We make sure that they are constantly supervised when together, and immediately correct him.

2. Junko is pretty brave and inquisitive, but gets a bit scared at times when Jackson comes running at her. He is almost 70# heavier than she is, so its understandable.

Other than that it getting good. Last night I watched as Jackson lay down and Junko ran up to him and began pawing at his face and play biting him. He would open his huge mouth and gently put her paw in it…wiggling with her. Its adorable!

So we finally got a new puppy to be a friend for Jackson. She is a Korean Jindo puppy…12 weeks old. He is a little jealous but so far so good. He isn’t being aggressive towards her…he is a bit curious, tried pawing her a couple of times but nothing major.

She is totally cute, wiggly and loves to lick your face. Without further delay, here is Junko (june-kho).

2 weeks left in the season and I, along with countless others, am still considering what am I going to get people?

I could go on a rant about how much I really am not into the season…or how the commercialization of Christmas has made things frantic for multitudes of people. But that’s been done ad nauseum.

So I guess its time to put that good face on and make with opening the wallet.

Since this life of ours is fast paced and full of unexpected things, me and the wife went to my sisters for an early thanksgiving dinner. My parents were there as well. Of course not too many meetings with my mother would be complete without some sort of drama.
