I bought Season 3 of Rescue Me and whilst cleaning house I have been having my own marathon. Sans the pizza n alcohol of course. Fire of course is never the same on TV as it is in real life…none of the deeeeeeep murky smoke or fast moving flames (unless of course it adds to the drama of the scene)

I spent the day with Moby yesterday. Had some delicious sushi in the Castro at Osaka Sushi. They make fantastic rolls there. Me n Ramune pigged out on lots of maguro.

On a side note, my mom is pissed off at me. My grandmothers viewing was on wednesday, which I went to. Thursday was supposedly the night for the rest of the friends and family. I chose not to go since that was time for everybody else. Friday is the funeral to which of course I am going to. She’s pissed because I didn’t come on thursday. It’s odd considering the rest of the family isn’t pissed or annoyed or even not thinking I was being inconsiderate. They are just glad that I was there. I think it’s just drama. I don’t know what she wants from me, I think she’s lookin for a grand apology. I don’t know..

Gramma passed on sunday….it’s been expected. I find it to be sad, yet something of a relief. She’s been in ill health for so long, and the deterioration that I saw her go through was hard to bear. I can only hope that when my time comes I don’t find myself on the same long road down that she took.

She always had a sparkle to her eyes, even to the last time I saw her. She especially loved the moment I said that I would bring her home a new boyfriend. She was fantastic.

I’m going to miss her. I love you. God speed.

I am typing this on my Alienware laptop. My Macbook Pro is at the Apple Store AGAIN after having keyboard issues for the 3rd time. Sigh.

My grandmother has been in the hospital for the past few weeks. She’s been having kidney problems again. She looks so frail now. I dont think she weighs 100lbs by now. Things don’t look good for her this time.

Feb 28th was mine n Ramune’s 2 year anniversary. We have both been amazed that the time has flown by so quickly. Loads of laughter, fun times and trial by fire. Good thing is of course is that we go through all of this with wonderful stride.

So I have been placed on modified duty for now. I sit at the front now and answer phones n take counter reports. Boooooring. But, at least I’m still employed and waiting to finish my training. 6 weeks before the pin and button come out of my finger. Then my final 6 weeks in training. The joys of people and stupidity…on everyones part I’m sure.

I saw Jumper recently…it was pretty good.
