BSG
I don’t know if you are keeping up with the Battlestar Galactica series at all.. but this is the last season, the final episodes. And so far, they don’t disappoint at all! Well, only in a few things, like the Earth is really a piece of radioactive crap that wasn’t inhabited by Humans, but by Cylons..wow.
On other news, work has been a blast, wait, I was off for over a week! Great stuff…so damn relaxing. And now I’ve got a cat relaxing on my lap…damn heat sink!
And last thing, a big “THANKS!!” to Ed for giving me some Glenfiddich scotch….now I’m stuck on this wonderful stuff that costs more than the Bushmills I was drinking before…THANKS!
I did go to Calistoga for a night out, mud bath, facial massage, spa treatment…it was fantastic. I should do it again. And yes, Ramune did come with me. Who else?
No commentsTime off
I start 12 days off as of now. Me and the Ramune will have a three day weekend together, so I’ll have to think of something to do that will be relaxing and fun.
There isn’t much new to report s far as work goes…I’ve been doing some more plainclothes work. The Captain and Lieutenant have had me and my partner working on a couple of projects. One is to see if we can find the guy that has been setting Porta Potties on fire around the City. Second is to see about working on the new spate of home invasions and burglaries that have been occurring. It seems to be a City wide issue, however.
I’ve been playing a bit with the Windows 7 beta install that I have. It’s interesting.
No commentsWindows on a Mac?
That is a snapshot of me running Windows 7 (beta) on my Macbook Pro. I’m just finished installing it, I am putting on a few programs to see how it goes. So far, it looks good, and runs pretty snappy. I have heard that it runs better than Vista already, and since I never got the chance to install Vista, I wouldn’t know how it compares while running on my machine.
I got a new tat, 4 hours or so of pain, but well worth it. Here are a few pics, just keep in mind that this is the outline only. Coloring is coming soon enough. Probably 2 more sessions. One to do the majority of the coloring and adding in some details, then the other to finish it up and add shading. What you think?
