So we finally got a new puppy to be a friend for Jackson. She is a Korean Jindo puppy…12 weeks old. He is a little jealous but so far so good. He isn’t being aggressive towards her…he is a bit curious, tried pawing her a couple of times but nothing major.
She is totally cute, wiggly and loves to lick your face. Without further delay, here is Junko (june-kho).No comments
I start 12 days off as of now. Me and the Ramune will have a three day weekend together, so I’ll have to think of something to do that will be relaxing and fun.
There isn’t much new to report s far as work goes…I’ve been doing some more plainclothes work. The Captain and Lieutenant have had me and my partner working on a couple of projects. One is to see if we can find the guy that has been setting Porta Potties on fire around the City. Second is to see about working on the new spate of home invasions and burglaries that have been occurring. It seems to be a City wide issue, however.
I’ve been playing a bit with the Windows 7 beta install that I have. It’s interesting. No comments
The other night I was doin my usual duties, and in the course of a traffic stop me and my partner ended up deucing a couple of drivers (2 seperate cars) that happened to be brother and sister. It was a first in my book. I don’t expect to repeat that scenario anytime soon.
Things have been going well so far. My Sgt’s have told me that I’m doin good at work, and are pleased with my performance. In all, I am havin a great time. No complaints. I just wish that I could fall asleep when I got home…that is still a problem. Sometimes I only get 4-5 hours of sleep, and sometimes it’s broken up by whatever is goin on outside. Sigh…the joys of workin mids.1 comment
Today I completed a bike course so that I could be certified and do some ot gigs involving the bikes. We went and did some simple stuff that I had no idea how to do before, such as change a tire, mounting and dismounting the bike in different ways while the bike was moving, jumping curbs, etc. We finished off the day with a ride from the station to the Marina to Crissy Fields, then back to the station. There were some hills, but all in all I actually did better than I thought I would and completed the whole thing with only mild discomfort.1 comment
I saw Death Race yesterday and found it to be frackin FANTASTIC! It has everything a guy wants/needs, Fast Cars, Hot Chics, Explosions, Guns, I mean, other than the hardcore sex lackin, it was perfect!
Tomorrow I am gonna go visit Moby and check up on his status. He had surgery today to put some kind of metal on his clavicle to keep it from moving around or something like that. I can completely sympathize with his pain, after all, I’ve been there right?
Don’t forget, if you have an 08 R6, I have the manuals on the R6 page up top. Check it out, download, whatever. No comments
So the new district has a ton of bad drivers. I have been to more accidents in the month that I have been here than I did my whole time in training.
People rear ending a person at the red light, thus pushing them into the intersection where they collide with another car coming from the left.
A motorcyclist racing through the tunnel.
Person making a turn into a parking spot and hitting a bicyclist.
People not stopping for pedestrians in crosswalks. (and hitting them)
And on and on
So far I guess I can’t complain too too much. It’s slower here than Ingleside, but there is still alot to learn.
On another note, Ramune turned 24 last weekend. Took her to a brunch at the Embassy Suites Hotel with her family and some friends. Good frickin brunch. I didn’t know what to get there was so much good stuff. I ended up with only a fifth of the available goodies.
I also finally broke my bike engine in. WEG. Waiting on the decals to come in the mail for my modifications. Pics to folow. No comments
Between workin hard, stayin 2 nights in a row for 14 hour shifts…I have realized that I need to get out a bit more.
Monday: I rode to Laguna Seca for a preview of the MotoGP coming up. Basically the racers were testing the track, there were interviews, autographs, it was sweet! I could have taken the parade lap around the track, but I decided against it. I am still a bit nervous about doing that until I have a bit more experience in taking it faster (although I don’t think people were doing anything really fast that day)
Tuesday-Thursday: Work. 38 hours total, but tiring. Thursday night/Friday morning was interesting. There were a buttload of calls about gunfire. Some people say that they saw some kids running around. Some didn’t see anything. Some say that they heard 4-6 shots, others that they heard 20. But it kept happening all night. I was starting to think that either someone was fucking with us and setting off lots of fireworks over and over and over again, or that someone was goin nuts. Well on the last call, we found 5 cars had been shot, there were a bunch of bullet casings on both sides of the street. Running gun battle? Who knows.
Yesterday I saw “Wanted”. I liked it mostly…there was a moment where I just kinda lost it because of….well if you see it you will know. Remember Loooooooom of Faaaaaate…
Today is Wall-E. Woohoo.No comments

My last day of evaluation was yesterday. I ended it with 2 blue cards and an 11 page report. Not too shabby I would say. It was convoluted, it was long and arduous. Took me 3 hours to type it all up.
Now, I just have to wait for my FTO to finish up my last evaluation and my end of phase. THEN, and ONLY then, will I get my final blessing from the FTO Office. Oh snap.
It’s a bummer to have stuff still hanging over your head when you see the finish line and feel like you have already crossed through it.
I’ll give you the heads up when I find out. As it is, I’m still stoked.
I also celebrated my 35th birthday on wednesday. Got good BBQ, wine, 16 year old Bushmills, friends and some missing spots in time from where I can’t remember a thing. Sounds like I had a good time.
And as I finish this post up I have just been informed that I will be going to swings for now, until they figure out where I am gonna be transferred to. Sweeeet.2 comments
