And the cuteness keeps on coming

Junko is now on her 4th day of being with us. Jackson appears to be adjusting well to having a new dog in the house…however, there are a few caveats…
1. Jackson sometimes forgets who he is playing with and gets a bit rough. We make sure that they are constantly supervised when together, and immediately correct him.
2. Junko is pretty brave and inquisitive, but gets a bit scared at times when Jackson comes running at her. He is almost 70# heavier than she is, so its understandable.
Other than that it getting good. Last night I watched as Jackson lay down and Junko ran up to him and began pawing at his face and play biting him. He would open his huge mouth and gently put her paw in it…wiggling with her. Its adorable!

Since this life of ours is fast paced and full of unexpected things, me and the wife went to my sisters for an early thanksgiving dinner. My parents were there as well. Of course not too many meetings with my mother would be complete without some sort of drama.
1 commentWindows on a Mac?
That is a snapshot of me running Windows 7 (beta) on my Macbook Pro. I’m just finished installing it, I am putting on a few programs to see how it goes. So far, it looks good, and runs pretty snappy. I have heard that it runs better than Vista already, and since I never got the chance to install Vista, I wouldn’t know how it compares while running on my machine.
I got a new tat, 4 hours or so of pain, but well worth it. Here are a few pics, just keep in mind that this is the outline only. Coloring is coming soon enough. Probably 2 more sessions. One to do the majority of the coloring and adding in some details, then the other to finish it up and add shading. What you think?
1 commentBike course
Today I completed a bike course so that I could be certified and do some ot gigs involving the bikes. We went and did some simple stuff that I had no idea how to do before, such as change a tire, mounting and dismounting the bike in different ways while the bike was moving, jumping curbs, etc. We finished off the day with a ride from the station to the Marina to Crissy Fields, then back to the station. There were some hills, but all in all I actually did better than I thought I would and completed the whole thing with only mild discomfort.
Here are some pics of the day. Enjoy!

Frag out!!
Ok ok, so I’ve been playing Call Of Duty 4 alot lately…but I was actually referring to the fact that the pin has finally come out of my finger. Pis to follow. Interesting note, I had NO idea that the oin was actually in my bone this whole time!! The doc had drilled a hole through the bone-s…man, what a trip. The feeling of him puling the wire out was really frackin gross, and then he pulled the pin out with this odd twisting motion. Ewwwww
I finished COD4 yesterday on easy mode..now to try out some of the other features available to me and go again with a harder mode. I <3 my XBox 360. I wanna get a used copy of Gears of War as I totally thought the game play looked great. In the mean time I can play online with my brother-in-law and his brother. A few more upgrades on my status and I can join his clan [CAB], u figure out what it stands for.
Now, to relax with some scotch and my copy of Empire Strikes Back.

2 more days until I get my pin taken out!!!! I don’t know how long it’ll be until the doc lets me get back to work…then who knows who my FTO is gonna be? How well will I perform? You may have an idea of what it’s like to not know if the job is officially YOURS yet.
In other news, I got Ramune a Promise ring..here is a pic for ya… She has been getting so many “congratulations” on getting engaged, nobody believes her when she says it’s a promise ring…
Next payday time to get those vanities and sinks installed in the bathrooms. That should complete them for now…till I get around to repainting the downstairs one and installing new lighting.
